I see this is the … I see this is the version recorded for Joy Division’s 1st John Peel session in early 79.
The other version was released on Still, and was an outtake from the April 79 sessions for Unknown Pleasures. Thanks for posting.
I mean that CHORDS … I mean that CHORDS used on many songs like first ones on warsaw were not at all innovative. When they turned to be Joy Division and songs started to be not that simple… guitar really feels rare and as I said original… but I guess sumner wouldnt have been able to play as those guitarrist he ´s said… but joy division is the perfect band to me….. just saying tat I wouldnt say so much… excuse my english also..
ian was quite the … ian was quite the looker i can understand why deborah and annik both wanted him after seeing him i want him for myself if he was still alive i was 1984 4 years after he died r.i.p ian
Absolutely right. … Absolutely right. Bernard is one of a guitarist. He probably invented the industrial, distorted guitar sound!! Brilliant and underrated just because he simply plays guitar without pomposity.
There is so much … There is so much more to playing guitar than just playing chords. Just listen to the ing intro! You are not worthy listening to this if you do not understand these things. By the way: it is chords, not chordds. Otis tetrax!!!

I wouldnt say so … I wouldnt say so much jajajja… its just an original way of music,,, otherwise joy division chordds were perfectly common and used in their time
Fucking brilliant … ing brilliant guitar. Sumner best guitarist ever, Clapton, Hendrix, Vai, they don’t know nothing about being really really inventive. I got to say though I think Ian was a great motivator. Just listen to Movement and you will know what I mean.
Listen to Neu! … Listen to Neu! Negativland. Sounds almost exactly like Joy Division - the bass, disturbing subliminal noises, etc, but was recorded in 1972.
