I appreciate you trying to help, but please watch all of my abdominal training clips. You’ll soon realize that hip flexion (as opposed to trunk flexion) is not a movement for the rectus abdominis muscle.
Additionally, isometric “movements” (haha… ironic sarcasm intended) pale in comparison to eccentric muscle actions. Hence, in other words, side bridges suck.

V situp - like a regular crunch but simultaneously bring your knees to your chest as you crunch up
Side Bridge - Lie on your side, putting your weight on your elbow/forearm area. Raise the rest of your body off the ground, so the only two ground contact points are the side of your feet and forearm (sorry, hard to describe) hold this position for 25 seconds and repeat several times.
