Burning 750 calories a day seems pretty low, but I'm not sure of your age/weight. For your goal of 2 pounds a week you need a deficit of 7000 calories.

I would suggest going here, http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

Type in the information, it'll calculate, with varying degree of accuracy, your BMR. Your BMR is basically the amount of calories you would burn if you sat in bed all day.

There are 3500 calories in a pound of fat.

How much weight you're going to burn is dependent on how many calories you consume vs how many you burn off for the day.

Say your BMR is 1500 calories, and you eat 1400 calories for the day, that would give you a deficit of 100 calories. At this rate, it would take you 35 days (100 cal x 35 days = 3500 calories) to burn off a pound of fat.

Exercise will help speed up the process but don't overdo yourself. If you're motivated enough you could try weight training/cardio 5 days a week (max ONE hour a day).

Each exercise day will burn an additional 500 calories that you could subtract that from the 1400 you're eating. Putting you at 900 calories consumed per day for the 5 days you worked out during the week.. Let's just get to the math before I confuse you or myself anymore.

On your workout days you'd have a 600 calorie deficit, on non workout days you'll have a 100 calorie deficit. So.

(BMR of 1500 calories minus the consumed 900 calories= 600 calories)
[(5 days x 600 calories = deficit of 3000 calories) + (2 days x 100 = 200 calories.)] EQUALS.... 3200 calorie deficit for the week. Just shy of a pound of fat burned off.

This might seem slow, but trust me, time will pass by fast. Please, just don't attempt to starve yourself by not eating at all. Lose the weight slowly and responsibly.

If you have any questions just send me a message.
References :
Get out the calculator, Katia!
There are 3500 calories to a pound.
To MAINTAIN your ideal weight, you would have to eat your weight X15. So if your ideal weight is 120, you'll maintain that weight by eating 120X15=1800 calories daily. That's assuming you do a normal amount of exercise.
If you eat 500 calories too little a week, you'll lose a pound. (500X7=3500)
I'll stop. I think you're confused enough!!
Bless you and Good luck!! :)
References :
Nurse.

That will be 1-2lbs a week :)
Cut out ALL sugary foods not just sime. I mean like cakes, cookies, biscuits etc. Cut out all snacky junk fod like crisps and don't drink any pop and fizzy drinks.
Keep up with the exercise and you'll lose the weight.
I burn around the same amount at the gym and it's starting to work for me. I've also recently cut out bread. You should try it ;) You feel less bloated and you'll have a flatter stomach.
Hope this helps
