High fiber complex carbohydrates included in balanced meals with lean proteins and essential fats.

Oatmeal, sweet potatoes, whole grain pasta, brown rice and lean proteins and don't forget your essential fatty acids.
References :
http://askthetrainer.com/muscle-building-diets.html

High Calorie Health Food?
Through a good diet and exercise, Im hoping to add a few pounds in muscle. Its hard to find good advice out there about gaining, rather than losing weight, so what would you recommend for me to eat as part of my diet, that is healthy and has large amount of calories?
