Raw foods is … Raw foods is awesome, I lost like 50lbs. I have since gone off the raw food diet and gained 10lbs so am starting back again. I am going to do a vlog and see how it goes. Have a look on my channel if you fancy!!!
When you are raw … When you are raw for long time, you have to work out, if you don’t want to get too thin. I gained 10 pounds on raw simply by working out.
I wouldn’t call it … I wouldn’t call it a ‘mistake’ I’d say it’s about tweaking your diet based on what you need. For my kids and I we eat lots of nuts, seeds, avacados, olive oil, greens etc. We don’t want to loose weight. Also for those of us who live where we get lots of snow, I believe we need the nuts and seeds and fats in the winter months. I remember Storm saying he needed that when he was here in Canada. Eat for what you need.
I say do what you … I say do what you can and what works for you- it’s all a transition and it’s ‘not’ a diet. It’s a way of life. I personally don’t think there is a right or wrong way. If you feel crappy with what you are eating it’s not working for you and it needs to be tweaked- follow your body.
I am 3 months post … I am 3 months post partum. I was only 112 lbs when I got pregnant and I don’t usually gain much for my pregnancies usually around 30ish pounds . This time I lost 15 of that in the first 10 days. I don’t want to be scary skinny so for those worried about that you can eat raw and not loose weight if you want. I am comfortably sitting at 123lbs right now and even after a couple weeks of 100% I am holding it Lots of nuts and avacados, olive oil, and green salads and green smoothies! yeah!
Hey if I can do it … Hey if I can do it and cook for 3 kids and a husband it CAN be done! LOL Besides my husband was so stunned by my energy level and happiness he decided to give it a try too! He’s on his 9th day and its challenging because he travels and is gone from home for 4 days at a time in the middle of nowhere working on towers.

I have to say I … I have to say I LOVE Alissa’s book and dvd. I’ve been dabbling in it for about 4 yrs now and have everyone elses books. Guess what? I learned more in the first day of reading and waatching hers then ever before…her recipes are SO SO SO easy. I am a mom with 2 children and a newborn- i NEED easy- I’ve mde my husband at least 1/2 dozen of her recipes already and he LOVES THEM. I have SO MUCH more energy !! OMGawd it’s incredible.
Going raw was an … Going raw was an amazing experience for me. I lost 14 lbs effortlessly in 3 months. At first I did it for vanity and then I realized that it transformed me into something else, it’s hard to explain. My energy is through the roof, I love life, I feel like I did something so good for me and totally cruelty free. It was a journey I did not expect, I am forever changed and the food did that, which I would never believe if somebody told me on the street I would’ve laughed at them. Raw 4 life.
Just make sure you … Just make sure you consume enough calories. Having shakes is an excellent way to increase your caloric intake. Some things you can add to these smoothies to increase calories are mangos and bananas. They are higher in calories than many fruits. You can put in more than 4 bananas, and a few mangos with some other fruits like strawberrys, and youve got a delicious high calorie and healthy raw drink.
Increasing the … Increasing the amount of raw foods you eat, is definately an improvement, even if it is just a little increase. Whole grains and beans are far better for you than meat and milk. So that will definately improve your health. If you are still buying cooked whole grain breads, try and find ones that are organic and have been sprouted. Organic, raw, and natural are the best ways to go!

Sorry but eating is not only about being healthy its about enjoying food. if raw food is enjoyable to you, go ahead but you cant expect everyone to adopt your diet. you can lead just as healthy life by eating from all of food period in moderation with excercise
