as you grow older your metabolism decreases. so If your on the same diet and lifestyle as you were younger than you will gain weight. you can increase it if you do more exercise.
References :
Does your age affect your weight?
I really need to loose 10 pounds and I've peeked, what do I do?
I've been living on 900 calories and drink 140 oz of water as well as exercising 1 or 2 times a week.

Now for the past week, I'm living on 600-700 calories, I drink 140+ oz water, exercise 2 times a week and take Vitalert Vitamins to make sure my body it still getting everything it needs...

What kinds of foods should I stay away from?
What am I doing wrong?

SECOND PART OF QUESTION THAT WAS NEVER ANSWERED...

I can't fit in any of my pants!!!!

I wear a sz 0-3, and since I moved to Alaska, I've gained so much that I can hardly squeeze myself into sz 3-5...
I weigh 123 pounds now, but when I moved here I was 108 lbs.
The only change I've made is I stopped drinking diet coke and only drink water now.
I'll definitely start exercising daily as suggested...
But I really really don't want to buy a new wardrobe.
I just turned 29 this month, do you think maybe it's my age??
